ten things i like about myself.
(hmm this is probably a lot more difficult for myself, only knowing myself for 19 short years)
1. my natural abilities. i feel very blessed to be as good at what i loe to do as i am.
2.my ability to forgive. i have spent my life around people holding grudges and seeking revenge and frankly, have never gotten the point. i think the only thing i have never totally forgiven is fate for what it has done to my wonderful father.
3.my smile. at work im known for always smiling, and its pretty contageous too, so my tables always leave with a smile. and i love that its not a perfect smile. i heart my gap lol.
4. my ability to listen. i think that many people, especially young people, have forgotten how to listen, which leaves a lot to be desired for a conversationalist. people always say that they feel like they've knownn me forever, and i believe this is a result of my listening.
5. my spark. im not eactly sure what that spark is, but peoptle always tell me about it. i am going to assume its my self confidence, but if you have a better word for it, get back to me, haha.
6. my appearance. this may sounds shallow, but i am honestly very grateful for my parents. i am no beauty, but i like that i am unique and appreciate all my attributes, good or bad. come on, look at those cheekbones lol.
7. when i love someone, i love them completely. with every corner of my heart, and all the spaces in between. when i am betrayed, it hurts a lot worse than it would hurt most think, but when i am loed back it is the most fantastic thing in the world.
8. my ambition. i will leave this place one day, and everyone will remember me. and wherever i go, people will see me coming. i know what i want and i am already driving towards that goal. it surprises friends my age, because most have no clue.
9. empathy. its something my mother has never had, and i learned from that and embraced it. my father says that that is one of the things he likes about me most, and that means a whole lot.
10.my wicked sense of humor. if i couldn't make people laugh, i'm pretty sure i'd be an introvert. i love being able to brighten someone's day.
